The Inspiration of a Fashion Lookbook

Seeing stylish variations of outfits on real people always keeps me saying to myself, "that's amazing".
"It's great to see the fashion sense of people with realistic closets putting outfits together with accessories."

What Are You Wearing Today? Take A Daily Outfit Photo

Have you started taking pics of your outfits yet? It could actually give you a head start deciding what to wear for the next day. Sure you could plan to put your outfit out before you goto bed, but sometimes that just doesn't happen. You stay up late doing something, and the next thing you know your alarm is going off and you panic because you don't know what to wear & you have approximately 5 minutes to make the decision.

I almost cringe when I look in my closet, & I just cannot dress myself. This goes hand and hand with the limited-time problem on an sadly regular basis. Luckily, this is where the daily outfit pics can help. A quick browse through my closet outfit photos & I remember that the seemingly-unwearable (but very cute) dress goes VERY well with those trousers… & so on.

Chambray Romper and Cowboy boots

Outfit Style The weekend before last was the exact opposite, weather wise. The sun was shining, the birds chirping and the rain nonexistent. We went to the park for a picnic. I brought along Life & Style magazine, Subway, potato salad and homemade pasta salad. I'm getting hungry just remembering it all over again. I wore my chambray romper that I can't help but imagine Kate Bosworth owning a similar style. The studded ankle boots and chain bag were thrown in to add just enough edge to the sweet, light wash denim. Even though Spring and Summer are basically here it's still kind of chilly. Enough so, I needed the cardigan and beanie. As much as I miss Miami, summers there weren't always picture perfect. Most of the summer is filled with rain and way more humidity than any girl can really hope to handle. I don't miss wearing tank tops and shorts or flip flops April through August. It's nice bring able to layer and adapt to four different seasons every year. I do miss the beaches though...

A Striped Summer Night

Outfit Style Stripes are one of my favorite prints, they're simple and easy to wear. Paired with distressed jeans and Chucks, it's an effortless look.

Outfit Occasion This was an everyday outfit. Even though it's August, the elevation that I'm currently at is pretty high, so it was pretty cold, hence the long sleeves and long pants.

Mint Pearls

Outfit Style These pants are GREAT. They're loose, comfortable, and make my legs look so good. They're high-rise dress pants and they make my legs look miles long. Paired with a sheer, loose button-down shirt, it's a really dressy look, while still very comfortable. The floral print clutch added a pattern to the outfit and brought the whole outfit together. The black stilettos added to the illusion of long legs and of course just make me feel on top of the world.

Outfit Occasion Today was the birthday of someone very special to me and so I wore this outfit out to dinner with family.

Outfit Style The best thing about fall is layering, hands down. I love layering things that you wouldn't typically think of putting together, but that somehow work. I love that each piece of this outfit doesn't really GO with the rest of the outfit, but with all the pieces together it works. Sometimes you just have to take risks and they work.
