The Inspiration of a Fashion Lookbook

Seeing stylish variations of outfits on real people always keeps me saying to myself, "that's amazing".
"It's great to see the fashion sense of people with realistic closets putting outfits together with accessories."

What Are You Wearing Today? Take A Daily Outfit Photo

Have you started taking pics of your outfits yet? It could actually give you a head start deciding what to wear for the next day. Sure you could plan to put your outfit out before you goto bed, but sometimes that just doesn't happen. You stay up late doing something, and the next thing you know your alarm is going off and you panic because you don't know what to wear & you have approximately 5 minutes to make the decision.

I almost cringe when I look in my closet, & I just cannot dress myself. This goes hand and hand with the limited-time problem on an sadly regular basis. Luckily, this is where the daily outfit pics can help. A quick browse through my closet outfit photos & I remember that the seemingly-unwearable (but very cute) dress goes VERY well with those trousers… & so on.

Outfit Style I LOVE LOVE LOVE this outfit. I don't like being too matchy matchy, so at first, I didn't think I would like the black and royal blue blazer with the royal blue and black heels. But, then I tried them on together and with this dress and I really liked the way everything looked together. I love the waistline of this dress and the pointed toe of the heels, makes my legs look miles long. I love how the dress is cute and flirty, but with the blazer, it's dressed up.

A casual look with shorts and boots

Outfit Style I decided to brave it by wearing shorts. I haven't worn shorts without tights in forever, and it felt very liberating to say the least. I found this awesome Ann Taylor shirt at the Goodwill in Ballard for $5 and first wore it, here. But, this time around, I wanted to mix it up a bit and try for a more casual look with shorts and boots. But, I would love to know, which look is your favorite? Outfit Style I like doing short shirts with high-rise skirts--especially maxi skirts because it really elongates the legs. I also like with this shirt and skirt combination, the shirt flows out a little bit, as does the bottom of the skirt, drawing attention to my hips and making them look bigger--who doesn't want that?? Anyway, I love doing black&white, or in this case, black and gray, with a pop of red.

Outfit Occasion I wore this outfit to church. I like wearing an outfit like this to church because it's really covering, but at the same time because the skirt is tight and the bottom half is see-through, it doesn't make me look like I'm trying to hide in my clothes.
